Faithful reproduction of an existing motor car with a Spyder Gran Sport body manufactured by Turing in 1932. This model has been designed with the help of
original drawings kindly lent to Pocher by Alfa Romeo in collaboration with Alfa Romeo's original
historian Cav. LUIGI FUSI.
This model is made up of a total of 1,954 parts, consisting of:
- 351 high resistance plastic
- 1150 brass
- 360 stainless steel
- 93 other materials such as leather, iron, copper, rubber, etc.
Some important characteristics of this model:
- The crankshaft, complete with connecting rods, pistons and pins, are operable by
cranking the starting handle
- Operable steering wheel
- Pedal brakes operate on all four wheels, complete with brake shoes and drums
- Real leather seats
- Each wheel is assembled by hand spoke by spoke - over 100 parts in each wheel
- Custom added features
- Ultra-bright chrome
metal transfer applied to step trim and chrome aluminum tape for body trim.
- Simulated metal clamps on all hose ends
- Scratch-built windshield and side panes of the correct thickness (original panes too thick and blurred)
- Leather stearing wheel cover
- Leather key fob
