| Joe and Tonya were married
on July 12, 1997. It was a small wedding with about 25 people in attendance, and no
wedding party. The ceremony was conducted by a retired pastor. |
 |
This was the first that we saw each other the day of the
wedding. Joe spent the morning getting ready at the Abramson's home, and Tonya was
primping away with Elise's help at the condo. The ceremony was at Waverly Beach Park
in Kirkland, Washington. The weather behaved itself; it was slightly overcast and
warm. Since the ceremony was scheduled at 10 am, the park was pretty empty.
The ceremony was short and simple, but very nice. |
 |
After the ceremony, everyone was invited over to Carlon Point
on the Kirkland waterfront for lunch at Cacina! Cacina! Outside the
restaurant, |

This limo pulled up in preparation of a wedding that was happening later that day at the hotel across the
way. The driver allowed us to take pictures, but he wouldn't take us for a spin
around the neighborhood. |
 |
This was just another chance to take in the beautiful
scenery. We had to wait some before the restaurant opened at 11 am, so we ended up
walking around the pier and boat docks. |
|
The honeymoon was a weekend trip to Snoqualmie Falls
Resort. The resort is seen at the top of the falls. We had dinner, walked
around, and just enjoyed the time together. |
