Joe now has his contractor's license, and is an official painting contractor for California. His business is Joseph's Painting Services. Joe is back on the bike again, now that the rain has tapered off. Once the weather warms up a bit more, we will take Joseph and Matthew out with the both of us in a bike trailer. We are guessing that they will like that. For now we will have to find someone to watch Adam until he is about 2 years old, then he can join us as well.
Tonya has started quilting with a passion. Check out this new page just for quilting. Also we are getting more involved with a group of Home Schooling moms.

August 28, 2001Our Mom and Dad
Joe has finally gone on his own full time in the painting.  With the weather being so nice here in California, there should be plenty of work throughout the whole year.  So far he has gotten jobs just by referrals.  This isn't surprising since his work is so high quality and at such a fair price since he doesn't have any employees.
Tonya of course is anxiously awaiting the birth of Adam.  With less than 2 months to go, she is feeling about done to be pregnant.  At this time, there aren't any plans to have any more children, but plans can always change later. Tonya has also been busy (when she has the time) to do drapes and such for decorating the house.  There is a bunch more to do, including the bedroom bedding and decor, but at least the fabric has been picked out at Joann Fabrics.

Our mom and dad are pretty cool. They stay busy taking care of us, and doing all the stuff that adults are suppose to do. Dad has been busy painting houses, and doing some work around the house. He is in the process of putting up gutters so that when the rain comes this winter, our yard won't flood. Mom has been busy with us of course, but has also starting sewing again. She has this new sewing machine that works much better than her old one. We can hardly wait until she starts making us clothes.

House Updates

As many of you know, we moved to California in October 1999. The house we bought has lots of room, but we are quickly outgrowing it. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and an office, which all adds up to about 1500 square feet. The house still needs a bit of work to be what we really want. The carpet has been replaced and the house has been painted. Here are just some of the remaining projects on the "To-Do" list.  For those who want to help out, we will gladly accept Home Depot and Lowes gift cards.

plant grass and install sprinkler system in back yard -hopefully in spring 2004
replace inside doors with 6-panel doors
Base molding in bedrooms
