- I turned 2 years old just last
month, and it was such fun. The party was a pumkpin theme. We had bales of hay, lots of
pumpkins and 12 friends from church and playgroup. We ate meatballs, chips, veggies, and
more chips. Chips is my favorite, and juice. You can see pictures from my birthday party
on this page. I really liked blowing out my candles, but I did
not like it when my mom took the cake away. I wanted to eat it. I finally got some cake,
and ice cream too. I really like cake and ice cream.
I got all kinds of toys. I got a soft horse and trailor, Kid K'Nex, a
Thomas the Tank Engine teddy bear, some cool cars that make noise, a remote control cars
and some books. My brothers like to play with my toys too. And I like to play with their
toys too. We play with K'Nex together all the time but Joseph and Matthew have to help me
put some of them together. I make spaceships with them.

- I am almost 6 months and I am
happily rolling all over the floor. My favorite things to roll after are diapers, the baby
wipes bin, and the train track. I will purposely roll for these things. I now have 2 teeth
on the bottom, and the first top one is about to break through. I have started eating baby
cereal and I really like it. I have been trying to eat other little things that I find on
the floor, but so far Mom has kept those out of my mouth. Matthew continues to make me
laugh all the time, though it doesn't take much to get me to laugh - it is my favorite
thing to do to past the time.

- A lot happens in only 5 months
for someone my age. But here is the scoop of what is going on right now. I have decided to
expand my play circle and am rolling around a bit. Matthew helped teach me to do this
since he was constantly rolling me over. I like to lay on my stomach the most so that I
can look around and watch my bothers play. I want to scoot over to them, but I haven't
figured out my legs yet, though I am trying and practicing all the time. I am not sitting
up yet, but I am getting pretty strong. I am growing pretty fast and love to eat. I have
started eating baby cereal since I keep waking Mom up at night to nurse. I love watching
everything that is going on around me, and have been doing so since almost the beginning.

- Adam Craig Moniz was born at
2:15 pm today. He was 9 pounds 14 ounces, and was 21.5 inches. Everything went well.
Interestingly enough, all three boys were born on Sundays. It was just a good day for us.
This picture is of Adam at 3 days old. He is very alert, and has no problem eating. So far
he is sleeping pretty good.

| Well,
here is where we will collect all the fun and exciting information about the new addition
that is expected to arrive at the Moniz house in October. Mom has been doing great with a
smooth pregnancy so far. The ultrasound was very clear in showing us that we are expecting
a boy. We are all excited and would have been happy either way. Below you can see some
pictures we have of the little guy.
8 weeks 19 weeks 31 weeks
Our new bundle of joy will be named Adam. With
under 2 months to go, we are all anxious to see what he looks like. We are planning to
have Adam at a birth center located not far from here. The midwife is great and expects
everything to go well.

This is at about 8 weeks.
We had to have an ultrasound this early just to see when we were due, since Mom was still
nursing Matthew and was not real regular. And for those of you who can't find the baby,
look for the circle. Top |

Here of course is at about 19
weeks, and you can see the head and body. Above the head is his arm. He seems to be
sleeping like Mom does. |
|
And here you can also see one of
the legs. |
|
This is so cute, a little foot.
Makes you wonder just how tiny he is right now. Top |

Here is a great shot of Adam at 31
weeks. Hmm, I wonder whose nose that is? The ultrasound at this point showed
that everything was going well and growing normally. And not that we needed to
verify, but at this size we could really tell that he was a boy. |

Who can resist those tiny little
feet.
