Lineolated of St. George

This is a web site about the beautiful Lineolated parakeet. These are easy to breed beautiful birds and are making a big introduction to all stages of bird life. Breeders and pet owners are finding the beautiful colors and the fantastic pet qualities a sure winner.

My goal with this site, until I can give you more graphics and information on this bird is to tell you a little bit of what I am doing.

I fell in love with this bird when I read an article about them back in the early 90's in an English publication called Bird Keeper. I attempted to purchase these birds but just before finalizing the deal I found my self emigrating to the United States.

I did buy a pair, which I set up with a friend of mine and we were able to breed a few babies. Unfortunately, he lost interest and we sold the birds because I had no where to keep them. That leaves me where I am at now, 8 years later and have just started breeding pairs of my own. I have normals,lutino, dark factors and blues all combined and breeding all colors

I have also set up a lineolated mailing list and a lineolated web ring.

I also have a breeders list so people can try and find birds in their area of the country of which ever country they may be in.
