PRAYER CONCERNS

The Parks Chapel Family extends our Prayers and Condolences to the Woodfin Family for the death of Mr. Lonnie Woodfin, II on January 29, 2002.

At Parks Chapel, we are thankful for our spiritual and cultural heritage. Please spend time this month in four specific areas of concern:

Week One: We unite in prayer for the people of Africa, the Caribbean and the Diaspora of people of African descent worldwide.
Week Two: We unite in prayer and thanksgiving for our rich past in America. Our ancestors who fought for freedom from slavery and for civil rights. The founding of the A.M.E. Church.
Week Three: We unite in prayer for our families and community. For peace and prosperity for our Nation and homes.
Week Four: We unite in prayer for all under represented and oppressed people. We pray for God's justice and truth to reign and rule against wickedness and prejudice everywhere.
