Revel at Young's Grove  Oct. 11th, 2003
What a grand job was done by the King's Royal Guard. Four dashing and handsome men of the Diamond Rose; Dante, Demolite, Vlad and Cap'n Scott. They did put away in the stocks one accused warlock, (wearing a round object upon his wrist that maketh a sound much like a ticking), and various and sundry other unsavory characters. The populace attending the celebration was kept safe from early morning and on throughout the evening.
The Queen's Rapier Tournament did bring her much joy and cause a smile to be upon her face to behold so many a fine swordsman and swordswoman to fight in her honor. All combatants were to gain as many victories as possible. The last round, the championship round was between Legion and Sir Fergus, who was championed by the brave Lord Leopolde. At Her Highness' request, the two rapierists did bout using cloak and dagger. But as their skills were so evenly matched, the bouts were draws. After switching weapons, Legion did in the end come out the victor. Many friends did attend and enjoy this exciting contest.
The most noble and goodly King Henry LXIX of this fine land of Young's Grove was conveyed to the sporting  field in the royal carriage. Alongside him was his beautiful Queen Regina Kegel and in accompaniment were the nobility and other gentry in fine raiment. The audience was regaled by the deeds of the veryle knights before said knights were prepared for the contest with lance in hand upon their sturdy steeds. The knights came forward to the quintain to grab a ring upon the end of their lance. King Henry and Lord of the Grove, Sir Lyngus, shared a toast before the contest.
