is open enrollment for new students in January 2005. New students will only
be accepted during these months. This exciting class teaches not only martial fencing technique, but history, discipline, and proper form. Instructor Chris Atkinson has over six years of historical fencing experience, as well as training in various martial arts. Chris has attained the rank of Courtier (highest rank), and believes in safety, courtesy and honor above all else. Students must be 16 years or older, however the instructor may approve younger students. Fill out the registration http://www.auburnrec.com/regform.htm form with all required information. Please use activity code number listed for each program. 2. We strongly recommend preregistration for all classes to ensure a space in the class. 3. Payment in full must be made at the time of registration. Checks should be made to "ARD". Money orders, cash and VISA/ MasterCard are accepted. Cash and credit purchases must be made in person. 4. If you register by mail and wish to receive a confirmation of enrollment, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Some classes are not eligible for mail-in registration. If you are unsure, please call the office for more information. The Auburn Recreation District reserves the right to cancel or combine programs at any time. Classes may be canceled by Auburn Recreation District due to low enrollment. In order to prevent this from happening, sign up early and tell others to do the same. Even our best and most popular programs could be canceled if everyone waited until the last minute to register. Auburn Recreation District has a NO REFUND POLICY. If you cancel registration prior to the program start date, you will receive full credit on account towards another ARD class, program or activity. If you cancel after the first class, you will receive 50% credit. If you cancel after the second or subsequent class(es), no credit will be given. Credit is good for one year from the date of issue. Full refunds will be issued only if ARD cancels a class. Fees will not be prorated if participant registers after first class session. If you would like to receive the "resident discount" for any of our programs, you will need to bring proof of residency when you register. Proof of residency may be verified by a driver's license, your check used for payment, PG&E statement or something similar with a "physical address" on it. Post office boxes are not acceptable.
