Driving Directions to the Canyonview Community Center From Reno, take I-80 to Grass Valley Hwy 49. At the stop light, go right. At the intersection of Hwy 49 and Lincoln Way, go right. At the next stop light, intersection of Lincoln Way and Auburn-Folsom Rd., go left. Follow Auburn-Folsom Rd. down to Maidu Drive and then go left on Maidu Drive. Follow Maidu Dr. until it dead ends and then go left. Canyon View Community Center is all by itself on the right hand side. The closest parking is past the first parking sign and keep going uphill till you see the Center and the second "parking" sign at the upper parking lot. From Sacramento, take I-80 to Maple Street Exit and follow it up to Auburn Folsom Rd. (the courthouse will be on the right). Maple Street turns into Auburn Folsom Rd. as you pass through the intersection. Continue onward until you reach Maidu Drive, then go left. Follow Maidu Drive until it dead ends, then go left and uphill. Canyon View Community Center is all by itself at the top of the hill on the right hand side. Class locations differ according to the day of the week. Monday evening class is
from 7pm to 9pm and is held at the Lakeside Room at the ARD Gym across from Chana
High School on Richardson Dr., off of Dry Creek Rd. and Hwy 49. Wednesday evening class is from 7pm to 9pm and is held at the Canyon View Community Center at 471 Maidu Drive, Auburn, CA 95603. Driving directions for the Wednesday evening class are below. The next series of classes will begin on April 5th, 2006. Class will continue to meet every Monday or Wednesday except holidays or just prior to holidays. Participants must be at least 16 years of age or with an approval from the instructors. |
